North of the turn-off to Aragua de Barcelona... a sad sight.  This road has been replaced  with a new highway a few km. west.

Although this is not Anaco - I thought some of the visitors might appreciate seeing what Lecheria looks like now.  This is where Mobil used to have their beach houses...  Bibi Dobrin tells me the houses were demolished about 3 or 4 years ago to make room for an apartment building.

For those visitors who may have attended Escuela Anaco - it looks little different than it did when I attended classes there from 1962 to 1971.  Down to the cabinets inside the class rooms, the blackboards - everything! The benches in the picture above right came right out of the Union church which met in the old North Camp school.
